Two Scholarships Established in Partnership with Langara College

The VGBA is pleased to announce the establishment of the Vancouver Girls’ Basketball Challenge Scholarships. These scholarships were established in partnership/cooperation with Langara College and will be awarded annually to successful candidates that have participated in the TELUS VANCOUVER GIRLS’ BASKETBALL CHALLENGE. The two scholarships valued at $1,000 each can be applied to tuition and fee costs upon enrolment at Langara College.

We are also excited to partner with the Vancouver Police Department and the Vancouver Police Foundation to create even more scholarships in 2018.  Many thanks to Sgt. Raj Mander for his leadership and contributions.

To ensure sustainability of this scholarship the VGBA and Langara College will continue to seek donations from individuals and private sponsors.
