Second Round, Game 4
Lord Byng 43 – 26 York House
Building off the cheers of their fellow students in the stands, the Grey Ghosts pressured the Tigers into turnovers and created fast break chances. The first half would see two buzzer beater shots to end the quarters and Byng with a 28-12 lead at the half. Both teams would play strong defence in the second half and back-to-back three pointers by York House would end the game 43-26 for Lord Byng.

St. Patrick’s would jump out to an early 6-0 lead, but Tupper would battle back and hit a 3 pointer at the first quarter buzzer to take a 12-6 lead. Tupper’s defence would cause trouble for St. Pat’s all game and Tupper would win the game 51-17.

Magee 80 – 32 Crofton
Magee Lions dominated from the opening tip and that carried throughout the entire game. A fast-paced offense and a strong defensive pressure helped the Lions rack up the points. Despite the loss, the Crofton House Falcons showed resilience and continued to compete until the final buzzer.

Prince of Wales 56 – 33 JO
It was a slow start to the first game of Day 2 with Prince of Whales holding a 6 point lead to end the first half. Prince of Whales stretched their lead coming out strong to start the third quarter, beating John Oliver’s zone defense. John Oliver started the fourth quarter strong with a full court press scoring off of forced turnovers, but Prince of Whales kept their composure to secure the win.

This Senior semi- final game came down to the wire. With the score close all game, the final two minutes were packed with intensity and monentum swings. Both teams battled on both ends and stayed locked in, but Tupper Tigers pulled ahead in the closing moments to take a hard-fought victory.

Britannia 53 – 48 Churchill
After a slow start in the 1:45 matchup between Britannia and Churchill, Britannia tightened up defensively and went on a late second-quarter run to take a 25–16 lead into halftime. The third quarter remained steady, with both teams trading baskets and neither side able to create significant separation. Churchill mounted a strong push late in the fourth quarter, cutting into the deficit, but it wasn’t enough to overcome Britannia’s earlier surge. Britannia held on for a 53–48 victory and will advance to face Tupper in the finals
