Both teams played with a high tempo pace throughout the entire game. The game remained close, however Magee fought hard after the loose balls, finished transition hoops and played great defense until the very end to clutch the W!

Charles Tupper Tigers started strong and took a 25-19 lead into halftime. York House continued demonstrating great teamwork and took their first lead of the game going into the 4th with a buzzer beater three pointer making it 37-33. A strong game by both teams, with Tupper clinching the win with a score of 51-49.

After a slow start in the morning, the Jokers worked to protect the key from the height advantage that the Blue Demons had. However, with their smart and quick ball movement, Kitsilano started to chip away. John Oliver closed the gap a bit, but the blue demons’ work in transition and press break helped secure their win.

Britannia 59 – 45 Churchill
The last game of the day was a great matchup between the Britannia Bruins and the Churchill Bulldogs. Britannia started out with a 9-1 lead but bulldogs brought it back with some timely threes and good ball pressure!
After some tough full court press and great ball movement, Britannia kept their lead throughout the game. After hard work on both sides of the court for both teams the Bruins pulled through with a 59-45.
