In a thrilling showdown, Yorkhouse narrowly defeated Kits Secondary 28-24 in a back-and-forth battle. Yorkhouse jumped out to an early lead with some solid offensive plays, but Kit’s Secondary responded with relentless defense and key baskets to stay in the game. As the final minutes ticked away, Yorkhouse managed to stay on top and came away with the win. A hard fought battle by both teams!

In this first round match-up, both teams brought the energy throughout the first quarter with strong takes to the hoop from the Churchill Bulldogs and multiple steals from the York House Tigers. The Churchill Bulldogs continued to keep this energy and tenacity throughout the remaining quarters through a mixture of lay-ups and threes. Although the lead grew for the Churchill Bulldogs, the York House Tigers continued to battle to the very end.
