First Round, Game 3
York House 62 – 25 Kitsilano

With most of the Kits seniors away at another game York House was simply the stronger team tonight. York House led 30 – 0 in the 2nd quarter as Kits couldn’t penetrate York House’s 2-3 zone nor could they hit the outside shot.

First Round, Game 4

Churchill 81 – 59 St.Patrick’s

St Pat’s seniors are a good team with some great outside shooting but Churchill is simply better. Churchill has the size and the ability to run the which St Pat’s just couldn’t contain. Churchill’s height allowed them to play a very effective 2-3 zone against a much smaller St. Pat’s team. But give St Pat’s credit for making Churchill work hard for their victory. Very difficult to select a player of the game for Churchill because so many of them contributed to the victory.
