2014 – Day 2 Game Summaries
SENIOR GIRLS
Second Round, Game 5
St. Patrick’s 54 Killarney 73
It was a fast paced game between two teams who were evenly matched in speed and size. The first half was a see-saw battle that favoured St. Patrick’s with the hot shooting hand and transition while Killarney dominated the boards. Killarney held the lead 14-10 at the end of first and 32-30 at half-time. In the end, the Cougars’ aggressive zone defense stiffled the Celtics’ outside shooting and steadily increased their lead to win 73-54.
