VGBA recognizes that cost of elite level programs can be a barrier to participation.  Financial barriers for players and their families can limit the number of opportunities for girls in Vancouver to reach their highest potential.  We strive to establish and maintain a bursary program for girls needing financial assistance to participate in training or playing in club, provincial and national programs.

If you are looking some financial assistance for an elite spring or summer basketball program, here are a few organizations you can take a look at for more assistance:

• KidSport Vancouver
• Your school  (see your Athletic Director, Principal and/or Counselor

Before you apply for a VGBA bursary, you must show a willingness to seek other funding such as those organizations listed above.
