This led to many early fast break points with strong finishes by Jennifer Carpio and Jilliane Vina. The second quarter also started with mini 10-0 and 8-0 runs by both teams which led to a 40-21 halftime lead for Brit. The third quarter also started strong for Britannia with a 10-4 run followed by a 10-0 run for Kits. Toni Li and Adrienne Parkin led the way in scoring for Kitsilano and tried to keep things competitive but the overall speed and strong finishes by Britannia could not be matched by Kitsilano.
